Mining Operations

The activity of Ostara Group LLP is the provision of production, technical, and consulting services, i.e. surveying, drilling, blasting, excavation, transportation, outsourcing of production processes during open-pit mining, and consulting services in the field of open-pit mining. The staff of the organization consists of highly qualified specialists with experience in the mining industry of 5 to 15 years. The management team includes specialists with higher education and over 10 years of experience in the mining industry.

Our company offers general contracting services, i.e. primarily a set of professional solutions for the management of open-pit mining, which includes quarry design, planning of scopes and fields of mining operations, deadlines for their execution, budgeting, as well as engineering and technical control of compliance with design solutions and the quality of work performed.

Ostara Group LLP also has the opportunity to additionally provide the following stages of field development:

• preliminary studies of the initial state of the facility, carrying out the required measurements;
• surveying support (spatial and geometric measurements of mining developments, determination of their location parameters, and compliance with the design documentation);
• mining planning and engineering decision-making;
• optimization of design, process, quality, and cost characteristics;
• development of local process documentation;
• constant quality control of the work performed;
• control of industrial safety, occupational and environmental protection during mining operations;
• maintenance of executive documentation; and
• interaction with the Department of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and state regulatory authorities.
